Daily Prompt: Comedy of Errors (and bonus assignment!)

Murphy’s Law says, “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.” Write about a time everything did — fiction encouraged here, too!

Bonus assignment: do you keep a notebook next to your bed? Good. Tomorrow morning, jot down the first thought you have upon waking, whether or not it’s coherent.

First I’ve heard about this “law” but still don’t understand its context. It sounds like pre-destiny in which we gave no control to its freedom and thereof to change, almost like a Book of Life or Akashic Record of Karmic Debt

Second, I believe we are just playing a role whether we like it or not.

Third, I used to have a notepad next to my bred but as fate would have its way, I don’t care to record everything, anymore. There is no point and it’s time consuming anyway.

I cannot count the number of times that things that have gone WRONG, from choosing a practical vehicle (opting for a Ford Mustang V-6 instead of a four-door sedan) to deciding on purchasing simple products, such as a couple of silver/wire mesh desktop organizers from Staples yesterday.

For somehow, I am NOT designed to be a “decision-maker”. Rather my assignment/function is mostly supportive/administrative with some design/engineering creativity, which can be found on this here weblog site.

That’s why I cannot depend on being “independent.” Yes, I do think a lot but mostly frivolously. I am more reliable when the flow of operation has already been established and ongoing improvements to the processes can be made/suggested.
